Don’t let the sober looks fool you; Samsung intends mischief with their new Corby PRO B5310 and its non-sliding (but still QWERTY-toting) Corby TXT B3210 sibling.  The company bizarrely decided that the best way to promote the two social-network focussed devices was to give four of them to well-connected Italians and then stage a massive paint fight.  No, we don’t quite understand it either, but you can see the video after the cut.
The Samsung Corby PRO B5310 has a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3-megapixel camera and 900/2100 HSDPA.  There’s also WiFi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphones jack and a microSD card slot.  As for the Samsung Corby TXT B3210, that has a 2.2-inch non-touchscreen display, 2.-megapixel camera, EDGE data and Bluetooth.
Both have interchangeable “fashion jackets”, threaded SMS conversations, straightforward access to Facebook and MySpace, and a mediaplayer.  The Corby TXT will land in Europe this month, while the Corby PRO will arrive in Europe come November before spreading to other markets.
